About the job

Position: Customer Development - Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop company business plans, strategies, and drive sales for Biotechnology Lab, Multi-Location Trials, and Seed Germination Testing services.
  • Generate new customer leads through various channels and business development activities.
  • Effectively manage sales-related stress and expectations at all levels of management.
  • Identify potential sales prospects and proactively engage in customer acquisition.
  • Achieve assigned monthly sales targets for various seed R&D services.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through regular engagement and follow-ups.
  • Address and resolve customer queries/issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and timely status reports, including daily activity updates, account receivable collections, and follow-up calls.

Qualifications:

  • MBA in Agri-Business Management
  • 1-2 years of experience in the seed industry

Required Skills:

  • Strong sales and business development acumen
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in sales within the seed, biotechnology, or agricultural sectors
  • Familiarity with cold storage and seed preservation processes
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting
