Job Description
- You are looking for a skilled Lead Data Engineer to join a company that is a leading provider of specialized software for manufacturers and distributors. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights. You will also work closely with cloud architects and DevOps teams to ensure robust and secure data platform deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data solutions
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and workflows
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights
- Manage data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time analytics systems
- Monitor and enhance system performance
- Lead and mentor junior engineers
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering
- Expertise in Microsoft Fabric (Synapse, Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Power BI)
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure

- Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL/ELT best practices
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, team management, and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
- Experience with machine learning pipelines or integrating AI into data workflows
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure or related technologies
This is a full-time position located in Bangalore, with a work mode of 3 days a week. The interview process will be conducted face-to-face in Rajajinagar.
