Job Description

GCL is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator Landscape to support the successful delivery of landscaping projects. The role involves assisting in project planning, scheduling, procurement, and coordination with subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in developing project management documents such as budgets, schedules, scope statements, and project plans.
  • Execute administrative and financial project management tasks including managing invoices, purchase orders, and inventory reports.
  • Coordinate and supervise project procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
  • Meet with clients to understand project requirements, define deliverables, and agree on timelines.
  • Allocate project resources efficiently, ensuring teams have what they need to achieve milestones.
  • Assign tasks to team members and clarify expectations regarding deliverables and deadlines.
  • Serve as the liaison between the project team, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, team performance, and provide regular updates to Project Managers and stakeholders.
  • Schedule and document stakeholder meetings, prepare reports, and maintain project documentation.
  • Foster cross-team collaboration to ensure timely completion of project tasks and deliverables.
  • Identify potential project issues or risks and assist in developing mitigation plans.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination for landscape or construction projects.
  • Experience working on landscape design, hardscape, irrigation, planting, or urban landscaping projects.

  • Strong knowledge of landscape project processes, materials, and construction methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project plans.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling, resource allocation, and procurement coordination.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prepare project documentation, reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
