Reinsurance Underwriter

What role you will play in team: You’ll be a key player in assessing and managing reinsurance risks, ensuring the financial stability of our clients' portfolios and contributing to the overall success of the company.

What you will do: Analyze reinsurance treaties, underwrite risks, negotiate terms, and manage relationships with clients and reinsurers.

Key responsibility:

• Analyze reinsurance treaty proposals and related documentation.
• Assess the risks involved and determine appropriate pricing and terms.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with cedents (insurance companies) and reinsurers.
• Monitor claims and losses to manage risk effectively.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and reinsurers.
  
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulations.
• Provide insights on underwriting strategies and risk management.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, insurance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in reinsurance underwriting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of reinsurance principles and risk management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
