Principal 360 Contract Recruitment Consultant

Job summary

An experienced and highly motivated recruitment consultant who will be working within the IT or finance market. Within this role you will be working within a fast moving, candidate driven market. You will create business development strategies and calls to attract clients needs and offer the right recruitment solutions. Within the role you will liaise with clients to understand role requirements to source and select the most suitable candidates. It will be your duty to source, screen, and compile a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles.

Key duties & responsibilities

• Assist business development and client attraction
• Build market maps to understand key employers within your area of specialism
• Write and post technical job descriptions on specialist IT boards, social media, and any other relevant channel
• Source junior, mid-level, senior, and highly specialist candidates for leading global businesses, covering the UK market
• Screen and interview candidates to ensure we put forward the best quality profiles to clients
• Build a candidate CRM to ensure a solid pipeline of qualified candidates
• Consult with clients on overall hiring strategies and tailor your approach accordingly
• Keep up to date with latest industry trends to ensure candidates can be evaluated against industry standard assessments
• Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals
• Build and develop your client portfolio, providing expert consultation to ensure repeat business
• 
  Generate new leads and clients using your network and contacts
• Network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand and ensure we attract the best professionals
• Act as a mentor to more junior members of staff, championing company best practices

Qualifications

• A university degree is preferable but not essential
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Proven work experience in recruitment u2013 ideally as a technical recruiter
• 2+ years of IT, Tech, or Finance recruitment experience in a 360 agency role
• Strongly experienced in sales and business development
