Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented VMware and Cloud Support Engineer at the L1 level to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of VMware technologies and cloud computing principles. This role is essential for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our virtualized environments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level support for VMware environments, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to virtual machines and infrastructure.
• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of VMware solutions.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of virtualized resources.
• 
  Collaborate with senior engineers to implement cloud solutions and best practices.
• Document technical processes and maintain accurate records of support activities.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in VMware and cloud computing.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong understanding of VMware technologies, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools and performance management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably with a focus on VMware and cloud technologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional - VCP) are a plus.
