Role Objective:
The Business Analyst at Haptiq will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows. They will play a crucial role in translating these requirements into functional specifications for technology teams and ensuring successful project delivery. Additionally ,they will identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness for the client's business.
About The Role:
A Business Analyst typically plays a supporting role within the business analysis team, helping to identify and solve business problems by analyzing data, processes, and systems. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to learn and develop skills in business analysis while contributing to various projects aimed at improving business performance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Elicitation and Analysis:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.

- Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows in the form of pre-product/project requirement elicitation documentation.

- Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams.

2. Solution Design:

- Collaborate with technology and UI/UX teams to design solutions aligned with business needs

- Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges.

- Ensure proposed solutions align with organizational strategic goals and technological capabilities.

3. Stakeholder Communication:

- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.

- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiences.

4. Documentation:

- Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, use cases, building components, epics, and user stories, in JIRA and Confluence.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

5. Project Management:

- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

- Assist in project planning and estimation.

- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, deviations/scope creep from the plan.

6. Quality Assurance:

- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions.

- Ensure delivered solutions meet specified requirements and maintain high quality.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
Critical thinking, data analysis, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, process modeling, requirements gathering, industry knowledge, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable solutions, often requiring excellent presentation and client-facing skills to effectively consult with clients and deliver recommendations, working with US based clients, hands on experience in defining requirements in JIRA and Conflunce or any project management tools.
Technical Skills:

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proficiency in requirement-gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation.

- Knowledge of relevant tools and techniques, including JIRA, Confluence,
Monday.com, MS/Google Docs, MS/Google Excel, Miro, and Generative AI tools in day-to-day workflow

Professional Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role (2-5 years).

- Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Sharing experience and knowledge with teammates, including working effectively
with overseas clients.
