Enterprise Architecture /presales

Harman India is hiring Solution Architect/ Enterprise Architecture or Presales Architect.

Experience: 8years to 13Years

Location: Bangalore

Notice Period: Immediate to 15/20Days.

Key Responsibilities

1. Presales & Consulting Engagements

• Partner with Sales, Delivery, and Product teams during opportunity pursuits.
• Lead discovery sessions to uncover customer pain points, technical gaps, and strategic drivers.
• Create solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and value-based proposals.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with complete technical solution narratives.
• Present architectures, demos, and prototypes to diverse audiences from technical teams to executive boards.
• Identify opportunities for innovation (AI, IoT, analytics, automation, sustainability).
• Expert in presentation and proposal writing skills will nice visual artifacts

2. Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design (preferred candidate should have TOGAF certifications)

• Define end-to-end solution architectures spanning application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers.
• Align proposed solutions with enterprise architecture principles (modularity, scalability, interoperability, and governance).
• Conduct architecture assessments and recommend modernization roadmaps.
• Ensure designs adhere to security, compliance, and operational excellence standards.
• Map business capabilities to technology components, ensuring traceability from requirements to architecture.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement

• Collaborate with Delivery and Product Engineering to validate and refine solution feasibility.
• 
  Create and maintain reference architectures, reusable patterns, and playbooks.
• Provide technical enablement to sales and presales teams.
• Support governance through design reviews and architecture boards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Technical & Architectural Skills

• 8-10+ years in solution / enterprise architecture or presales roles.
• Strong grounding in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or similar).
• Expertise in at least one major technology domain:
• Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Data / Analytics / AI
• IoT / Edge / Connected Products
• Application modernization (microservices, APIs, containers)
• Security / Identity / Governance
• Ability to design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures integrating legacy and modern ecosystems.
• Ability to create solution architecture and technical solution based on RFX ask/requirements

Domain & Business Acumen

• Ability to align solutions to business KPIs and transformation objectives.
• Experience presenting business case justification and ROI calculations.
• Familiarity with industry reference models and standards.

Consulting & Communication Skills

• Exceptional storytelling and presentation capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management from technical teams to C-suite.
