Revenue Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

• Review Software and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sales contracts for compliance and revenue implications under ASC 606
• Work on month-end revenue close by validating accruals, preparing revenue account reconciliations, journal entries, conducting fluctuation analyses and reporting disclosures
• Provide insight on the appropriate revenue recognition for large or complex contracts with customers
• Draft or maintain revenue accounting memos including write-ups on large and complex deals
• Review and monitor Annual Contract Value and Annual Recurring Revenue calculations 
• Maintain internal control documentation and assist with revenue process development
• Help in the internal and statutory audit
  
• Coordinate with Finance team based out of San Francisco, CA, USA for extension of accounting processes to India and train the team on related topics
• Work as an individual contributor and be responsible for end-to-end Revenue Accounting for a few geographical regions.
• Setup SLAs in coordination with onshore team and ensure the delivery based on the same
• Other ad-hoc projects as required

Qualification: 

• Should be a Chartered Accountant having 4+ years of experience with a good academic record and Articleship from a renowned CA firm
• Experience in public accounting including Software and SaaS revenue recognition experience under ASC 606.

• People working with Big 4 will be a plus
• Experience working with NetSuite a plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, evaluative and problem-solving skills 
• Strong experience with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
