General Manager Supply Chain

Role & responsibilities

• Sales & Operations Planning rollout and management across the company (Demand planning, Dispatch planning, inventory planning, production planning and control)
• Coordinate Sales, Manufacturing and Materials planning at the start of the planning cycle .
• Monitor health of overall supply chain and identify actionable constraints
• Introduce continuous improvements in planning system and identify new benefit opportunities
• Usage of analytics to improve efficiency in the supply chain
• KPI: Forecasting Accuracy, Stock Availability, Customer service levels, Optimal Working Capital levels for All India
• 
  Driving supply operations encompassing import process, storage, and distribution and last-mile delivery.
• Implementing strategic sourcing solutions that transform service levels for business continuity.
• Leading the SNOP process with strong collaboration across functions to ensure visibility, transparency, and pro-active decisions on stock management
• Ensuring that all supply operations are followed according to the Quality Management practices and improving processes wherever required.
• Ensuring continuous savings in the cost of operations through improvements and driving budgetary control across the year.
• Driving compliances across all operations as per regulations, ensuring timely adherence to compliance processes with reporting as well as improvements.
• Establishing future solutions for continuous supplies including co-packaging / manufacturing as required.
• Reviewing the performance of the 3PL logistics partners on a continuous basis, establishing relevant metrics and ways of working to ensure regular business operations.
• Owning the talent agenda for the Supply Chain team to develop a robust succession pipeline, including fostering tight links across segments and business units.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of the cold chain industry is preferable
• Ability to quickly understand a complex business environment, specifically the cold chain environment
• Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes
• Self-Driven & motivated, comfortable to work in a cross functional environment with senior management
• Good analytical/ quantitative
