About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Order to Cash (O2C) Specialist with a proven track record of driving end-to-end O2C operations in large, fast- paced global environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise, strong process governance skills, and the ability to lead complex O2C deliverables across invoicing, collections, cash application, customer master data, dispute management, and reporting.
- This role requires working in the night shift to support global/US stakeholders and offers flexibility through a hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management & Billing:
- Manage end-to-end order processing, sales order creation, validation, and fulfillment.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing/invoicing aligned with contractual terms and SLAs.
- Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to resolve order- related issues.
Accounts Receivable & Collections:
- Drive the collections process across global customer portfolios with focus on aging reduction.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to expedite timely payments.
- Monitor credit limits, support credit reviews, and recommend credit risk mitigation actions.

Cash Application:
- Oversee accurate and timely application of incoming payments across geographies.
- Handle unapplied/unidentified cash and ensure closure within defined timelines.
Dispute & Deduction Management:
- Manage end-to-end resolution of customer disputes and claims.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address pricing discrepancies, short payments, and service issues.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare periodic O2C dashboards, KPIs, variance analyses, and executive summaries.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and SOX guidelines.
- Drive accuracy and completeness of O2C data in ERP/CRM systems.
Process Improvements & Transformation:
- Identify automation opportunities (RPA, workflow enhancements) to optimize O2C cycle times.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with global O2C best practices.
- Contribute to transitions, migrations, and ERP system upgrades as O2C subject matter expert.
Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with global finance teams, business leaders, and auditors.
- Provide escalations support and resolve complex customer or operational issues.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of functional O2C experience in shared services, GBS, or multinational organizations.
- Strong expertise in Order Management, Billing, AR, Cash Application, and Dispute Management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or Microsoft Dynamics will be an advantage.
- Deep understanding of global O2C processes, internal controls, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
- Experience in process transformation, standardization, and automation initiatives.
- Ability to work in night shift and manage deliverables in hybrid mode.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading O2C teams or being a process SME.
- Lean Six Sigma exposure or certification (Green Belt/Black Belt is a plus).
- Prior experience working with US-based customers or global clients.
