Job Description
- As a Manager Mortgage Underwriting, your role overview involves overseeing daily operations of the underwriting team to ensure timely and accurate decisions on loan files. You will be responsible for managing underwriting for FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and jumbo loan products. Additionally, you will serve as the final escalation point for complex loan scenarios and exceptions.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily operations of the underwriting team
- Managing underwriting for FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and jumbo loan products
- Serving as the final escalation point for complex loan scenarios and exceptions
To qualify for this role, you need to have:

- Strong command of AUS systems (DU, LP) and manual underwriting practices
- Hands-on experience with Encompass or similar LOS platforms
- Bachelors degree in finance, business, or related field (MBA preferred),
