Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely review and approval of all home loan applications. This includes customer on-boarding & identification, verifying key information, reviewing credit history and affordability, and confirming sufficient loan security. Also verifying adherence to established lending criteria and identifying any deviations or discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing documentation provided by customer to ensure application meets policy requirements.
• Providing superior levels of internal and external customer service by responding to, managing and resolving customer and stakeholder enquiries, complaints and issues
• Applying sound risk management practices by identifying and responding to business risks
• Processing transactions within agreed turnaround times and consistent accuracy in a high-volume environment
• Working cohesively within a team environment to look at continuous improvement ideas that will improve the customer experience.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in any field.

  Get Hired
  2+ years of experience in credit decision or mortgage loan underwriting or Post Close Underwriting in Australian, UK, and USA mortgage domain.
• Strong understanding of Australia, USA, or UK lending regulations is essential for this role.
• Candidate must have high levels of attention to detail and accuracy, as evidenced in previous roles
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
