Job title - Sourcing Engineer / Material Program Management

Exp - 4 to 7 Yrs

Location - Bangalore

Role & responsibilities

1. RFQ & Cost Estimation: Initiate and manage RFQs, lead time analysis and should-cost requests from internal stakeholders.
2. Supplier Engagement: Use existing supplier matrix for quotations, negotiate terms, and award business.
3. 
   Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, supply chain, and other teams to define sourcing strategies for NPI (New Product Introduction) and pilot projects.
4. Part Qualification: Manage internal qualification approvals for critical components.
5. Technical Understanding: Interpret multi-level BOMs, engineering drawings, and specifications; communicate effectively with suppliers.
6. Make vs. Buy Analysis: Identify opportunities and align decisions with stakeholders.
7. Cost Analysis: Use software tools to perform cost roll-ups, analyze cost performance, and drive corrective actions to meet product cost targets.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates should have experience in sourcing electrical, electronic, or mechanical components.

Proven experience in sourcing, negotiation, dual sourcing, and supplier management.

Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and commodity cost structures

Familiarity with SAP MM module, MS Office excel.

Exposure to cross-functional teams in new product or design change projects
