Job opening for Deputy Manager to Senior Manager Grade

Job Purpose:

The Digital Experience Analytics team is looking for motivated self-starters that are passionate about finding data-driven business insights.

The Data Scientist will analyze large amounts of data using Python/SQL, discover insights to solve business problems, and propose new data-backed use cases. He she will experiment with multiple data sources, statistical techniques, and ML models to deliver highly accurate and stable insights that business teams can rely on to modify products and processes.

The successful candidate will be an analytical problem solver, with a blend of technology understanding and business acumen. They should have hands-on experience with data analysis and model development using statistical techniques or machine learning methods. He/She should demonstrate a bias for action, have strong attention to detail, be vocally self-critical and capable of working in an ever-changing environment.

Job Responsibilities (JR):

1. Identify process and system improvement opportunities by analyzing existing metrics and data, partner with and influence internal teams for successful end-to-end delivery.
2. Design and develop new KPIs to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
3. Own the design, development and maintenance of ML statistical models and analysis using Python, SQL.
4. Apply relevant techniques of hypothesis testing, machine learning statistical models like classification, regression, and time series forecasting.
5. Conceptualize and implement methods to accurately track and measure the impact of the data science models developed.
6. Keep abreast of newly emerging techniques and tools in data science by participating in forums such as Kaggle, Machine hack, Github, Reddit etc.
7. Continuously explore and identify opportunities for implementing and integrating Generative AI in Digital Banking.
8. Develop and deliver results in Power BI as needed by the Business team to automate the entire process

Educational Qualifications:

• Between 5 - 10 years proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or similar Quantitative field is preferred

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of quantitative analysis techniques used in statistical modeling ML
• Knowledge of SQL, Python and R
• Experimental mindset, quest for continuous learning
• Analytical mind and business acumen paired with problem-solving ability
• Experience with cloud data frameworks (Azure ADLS, GCP, Hadoop) is an advantage
• Experience with Click-Stream Analytics (Adobe, GA, Firebase, BigQuery) is an advantage
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, is an advantage
