Job Description

We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Head to lead our expansion efforts across the UK and European markets as well as other global markets. The BD will be playing a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth in EU/UK and other global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the UK/EU region.
  • Additionally: Other IT Global Markets/Regions, Domestic Region.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies tailored for regional nuances.
  • Lead negotiations, empanelment and close high-value deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences across UK/Europe.
  • Track KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.
  • International Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate international markets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and target high-potential markets for web development and mobile app solutions.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets through effective execution of the sales funnel.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
  • Utilize LinkedIn and other digital platforms to source high-quality leads.
  • Network with potential clients and industry professionals to foster new business relationships.
  • Implement data-driven approaches and sales tools to expand the prospecting pipeline.
  • Sales Process Management:
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and initial contact, through negotiations to closing deals.
  • Prepare tailored presentations, proposals, and bid responses in line with client needs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine value propositions and sales messaging.
  • Client Relationship & Upselling:
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional services to existing clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through their digital transformation journey.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:
  • Work closely with internal teams such as project management, technical support, and product development to ensure delivery excellence.
  • Provide regular updates and insights on international market trends and competitor activities to senior management.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to refine strategies and forecast revenue.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, client interactions, and market trends to inform decision-making processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (15-20 years) in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the UK and/or European markets.
  • Preferred Skills Expansion for other IT global regions-
  • Strong understanding of the cultural and business dynamics in UK/Europe.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across the region as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Profound Experience in IT industry.
  • Experience in domains like Banking and Finance, Insurance, Pharma, Automotive, etc.
  • Existing network of contacts within the UK/EU business landscape.
  • CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot).
