Quality Assurance Analyst

Hennessey Digital, a leading search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing agency in North America, is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated QA Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate for this role is a consummate team player who has an eye for detail, is self-driven, has a problem-solving mindset, and has at least two (2) years of QA engineering experience.

We are a fully remote and highly collaborative team of digital marketing thought leaders located all over the country. We provide white-glove service to our clients, and were looking for a thoughtful team member who can ensure that all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on strategy.

The desired candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, be familiar with quality assurance skills, and be comfortable in a fast-paced atmosphere.

The QA Analyst is responsible for identifying errors, patterns, and offering solutions, including documentation and training, to systemic issues. They will also perform tests and report on metrics to monitor to ensure efforts are improving the overall quality of our work and product.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Actively participates in the identification and implementation of errors and solutions related to common errors.
• Reviews all work completed prior to giving live for clients
• Work with the manager to create effective standard operating procedures and other training materials as needed to support SEO efforts
• Works within HDs quality control checker.
• Gather and monitor performance metrics for quality control measures
• Contribute to training efforts and assist in developing training content as needed to correct common issues
• Create and utilize detailed QA Checklists and provide detailed feedback
• 
  Create and run reports on quality metrics
• Analyze bugs and errors found during system tests, such as the HD QA system check
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements

Experience

• At least two (2) years of experience in a professional quality control environment or comparable experience within HD
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO) knowledge
• Strong editorial judgment
• Confidence to be able to stop work and consult on issues
• Experience working with content management systems; WordPress a plus
• Experience with QA Automation tools and testing platforms, such as Selenium, is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong eye for detail
• Ability to prioritize issues across many different projects with different importance levels
• Proficiency in English

• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience
