Position Summary Statement:
Role – Manager, Finance
This position is responsible for commercial review of supplier contracts, review of balance sheet reconciliations and support monthly book closure activities.
In this role, candidate would be required to review commercials involved in vendor selection, agreement terms and conditions, evaluate and ensure terms are in the best interest of Herbalife, review of quotes, checking reasonableness of costs compared to prior years. Required to review financial schedules and reconciliations for any aged transactions, ensure action taken to resolve reconciling open transactions. Required to review the TB on monthly basis to ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly book close are done properly for areas allocated.
Also, this person would work closely with Business and Sourcing teams to understand the requirements, guide on the processes and controls.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Chartered Accountant
Roles & Responsibility

• Review supplier selection documents for accuracy
• Identify unfavorable terms, risks from vendors being evaluated.
• Review contracts being entered into with the vendors for unfavorable terms, commercials.
• Participate in discussions with Legal, Business, Sourcing teams and vendors to resolve issues.
• Timely highlight risks identified if any for the contracts being entered into
• Ensure timely completion of Controllership review of agreements as applicable.
• Ensure accounting of the company is in line with the global accounting policies.
• Review of monthly Balance Sheet schedules and Reconciliations
• Identify aged items, actions required for clearing pending items.
• Work with user departments for closure of open items
• Support in month close activities, review accruals for the area allocated.
• Accurate, timely Month-end and Year-end book closing as per Local and U GAAP for the areas allocated.

Skills

• Experience is review of commercials/agreements from finance perspective.
• Indian GAAP knowledge and experience.
• US GAAP knowledge and experience is an added advantage.
• Should have handled accounting and reporting function of a medium scale Multinational company.
  

Experience
CA with minimum of 7-9 years of experience (Post qualification) in the field of Finance & commercial review terms for contracts
