We are looking for a Marketplace Specialist (Flipkart) who will take ownership of our Flipkart business, manage account operations, optimize product listings, and drive consistent revenue growth through strategic marketplace management.

Role Overview

The Marketplace Specialist will be responsible for managing and scaling Herbalmaxs Flipkart marketplace operations. The role focuses on catalog management, campaign optimization, product ranking, pricing strategy, and inventory coordination to maximize sales performance.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Flipkart Seller Central, marketplace advertising, deal participation, and product visibility optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Flipkart Account Management

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the Flipkart Seller account.
  • Maintain strong account health, seller ratings, and compliance with Flipkart policies.
  • Monitor account performance metrics, penalties, claims, and policy updates.
  • Coordinate with Flipkart support teams to resolve listing issues and operational challenges.

Marketplace Sales Growth

  • Plan and execute strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets on Flipkart.
  • Identify opportunities to increase product visibility, ranking, and conversions.
  • Participate in Flipkart promotional events, deals, and seasonal sales campaigns.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and adjust pricing strategies to remain competitive.

Flipkart Ads & Campaign Management

  • Manage Flipkart Advertising campaigns including Sponsored Ads and visibility campaigns.
  • Optimize campaigns to improve CTR, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust budgets, keywords, and targeting.
  • Continuously test and optimize product placements and ad performance.

Product Listing & Catalog Optimization

  • Create and optimize product listings with SEO-friendly titles, keywords, and descriptions.
  • Improve product discoverability and organic ranking within Flipkart search results.
  • Manage product images, A+ content, and catalog accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the design team for high-converting product creatives.

Category & Pricing Strategy

  • Monitor category trends, pricing benchmarks, and competitor activity within Flipkart.
  • Implement pricing strategies to improve conversion and sales performance.
  • Identify opportunities for product assortment expansion within the category.

Inventory & Order Management

  • Coordinate with the warehouse and supply chain team to ensure stock availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand based on sales data.
  • Prevent stockouts and overstock situations during campaigns or peak sales periods.
  • Track returns, customer feedback, and product ratings.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Generate weekly and monthly marketplace performance reports.
  • Track key metrics including:
  • Sales revenue
  • Conversion rate
  • CTR
  • Campaign ROI
  • Product ranking
  • Provide data-driven insights to improve marketplace performance.

Candidate Profile

Experience

24 years of experience in Flipkart marketplace management, preferably in Personal Care, FMCG, Healthcare, or Wellness categories.

Skills

  • Strong expertise in Flipkart Seller Central
  • Experience managing Flipkart Ads and promotional campaigns
  • Knowledge of marketplace SEO and listing optimization
  • Strong analytical skills using Excel / Google Sheets
  • Understanding of pricing strategy and category trends

Education

Graduate in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

Compensation

Salary Budget: 6.5LPA-8.5LPA( In-hand) (Based on experience and expertise)
