General Purpose:
- As a VAT Associate in a European manufacturing company, you will support the finance and tax teams in ensuring accurate and timely VAT compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

- You will play a key role in preparing VAT returns, supporting audits, and improving indirect tax processes.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly VAT returns for European entities.
- Ensure compliance with local VAT regulations and deadlines.
- Handle Intrastat and EC Sales List (ESL) reporting.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Perform pre- and post-submission checks.
- Maintain accurate records and reconciliations of VAT accounts
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
- Contribute to VAT-related projects, Prepare and manage VAT declarations across Europe.
- Reconcile the accounts with financial data (GL). Advice on VAT implications of new business activities.
- Handle VAT invoice revisions and credits. Assist clients with VAT compliance across EU Member States.
- Provide advice and dispute management. Assist with registrations, audits, and VAT-related queries
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Accounting / Finance
- 4-6 years of experience Europe VAT, Accounting GL and Advance Excel
- Experience in BPO/ Shared Service Preferable

- Able to communicate effectively at all levels, by telephone and face-to-face.
- Computer skills - MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
