Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Expansion Manager to lead our store expansion efforts, ensuring seamless new store openings while driving brand visibility through BTL (Below-the-Line) marketing strategies. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, a deep understanding of retail operations, and expertise in local market activation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BTL Marketing & Local Store Marketing (LSM)

  • Develop and execute BTL marketing strategies to drive footfall and brand awareness for new and existing stores.
  • Plan and oversee activations such as in-store promotions, local events, influencer collaborations, community engagement, and sampling campaigns.
  • Coordinate with agencies and vendors for printing, branding, promotional materials, and event execution.
  • Implement hyperlocal digital and offline campaigns, including flyers, hoardings, radio ads, in-mall promotions, and partnerships.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of BTL campaigns and optimize strategies for better ROI.

2. Budget & Performance Management

  • Prepare and manage expansion budgets, ensuring cost efficiency in store openings and marketing activities.
  • Track and report key performance metrics related to store performance, marketing impact, and customer acquisition.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance profitability and store success post-launch.

3. Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Liaise with landlords, brokers, legal teams, and government bodies for smooth store launch approvals.
  • Build relationships with local communities and business associations for brand integration.
  • Manage third-party vendors, contractors, and marketing partners to ensure project execution.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
  • Proven expertise in BTL marketing, store promotions, and hyperlocal marketing strategies.

  • Strong project management, negotiation, and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and store launches.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in Retail, QSR (Quick Service Restaurants), FMCG, or Hospitality industries.
  • Hands-on experience in executing on-ground activations and promotional events.
  • Understanding of consumer behavior and local marketing trends.
