Job Description
- You will be responsible for calculating and deducting statutory components such as Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS). You should have a good understanding of Salary Structure including CTC, Gross salary, basic wages, house rent allowance, and other allowances. Additionally, you will be expected to generate and file statutory returns (EPFO, ESIC, PT, TDS) within prescribed deadlines, handle queries related to salary, deductions, and tax computation, support audits, and ensure documentation is up-to-date and compliant. Collaboration with the HR team for onboarding, exit formalities, and full & final settlements is also part of your role. It is essential for you to stay updated on changes in labor laws and statutory regulations.
Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, or a related field. We are looking for someone who can join immediately or within 15 days. Proficiency in Excel with skills such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Date Calculations is necessary. Attention to detail, confidentiality, and time management skills are also essential.
Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role include familiarity with digital compliance platforms such as TRACES, EPFO portal, and ESIC portal.

Please note that the job type is full-time and permanent. The benefits include Provident Fund. You must be willing to reliably commute or relocate to Perungalathur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu before starting work. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in Microsoft Excel is also required. The work location is in person, and a willingness to travel 100% of the time is necessary.,
