Hidromas India is looking for a driven professional to lead our Indirect Procurement function. If you have 710 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering setup, and expertise in sourcing everything from tools to chemicals this role is for you!

???? Core Focus Areas

1. Indirect Procurement: Consumables abrasives, cutting tools, welding rods, etc. Chemicals coolants, degreasers, solvents (MSDS compliance mandatory) Oils & Lubricants hydraulic oils, cutting fluids, greases Utilities water, electricity, compressed air systems Safety PPE kits, fire safety, emergency gear Facility Management security, canteen, HVAC, pest control Admin Supplies furniture, uniforms, ID cards, pantry needs Stationery printer cartridges, registers, files

2. Vendor Development & Negotiation: Build and manage vendor base across categories Sign annual rate contracts & SLAs Monitor vendor performance (delivery, quality, pricing)

3. ERP & Procurement Ops: Handle PR to PO, GRN entries, and invoice processing Maintain accurate records in SAP MM/Oracle Ensure procurement logs, contracts & MSDS docs are up to date

4. Inventory & Planning: Coordinate with Stores/Maintenance to manage stock levels Avoid stockouts, support preventive maintenance planning

5. Budgeting & Cost Control: Run cost-saving initiatives and alternate sourcing strategies Monitor procurement budgets & report monthly savings

6. Compliance & Audit: Ensure ISO/internal audit/statutory compliance Coordinate with EHS for safe storage/handling of hazardous goods

???? Qualifications & Skills

Education: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical) MBA (Materials/Supply Chain) is a plus

Experience: 710 years in indirect procurement in manufacturing/engineering

Tools: Proficiency in SAP MM / Oracle (or similar ERP)

Skills: Strong negotiation & analytical skills Technical understanding of indirect materials Vendor evaluation & cost benchmarking Cross-functional coordination
