Accounting/Operations - Accountant I

: Qualification Graduate Degree (preferably in Finance / Commerce)

Experience 2+ Years of experience in accounts payable domain.

Process Knowledge - Good working knowledge in AP/ Purchasing

Soft Skills - Good communication skills in verbal and written communication is a must for this position.

Good Analytical Skills

Superior customer focus and listening skills are pre-requisites for this position

Soft Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to listen and understand the needs of the customer are essential qualities for this position. Additionally, the candidate should be able to handle escalations and resolve conflicts in a professional and productive manner.

Maintain general accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure that proper information is reported in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Assists in accounting functions which may include accounts payable, fixed assets, and inter-company transactions.

Conduct account reconciliation periodically and provide accurate financial data to support management in decision making. Review and analyze inter-company

Participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of internal procedures and processes.

May participate in special projects.

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. Strong analytical, prioritization and communication skills in partnering with other internal groups and management. Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets is essential.
