Hourly / Salary: $70W2-$90W2 | $130K-$160K + bonus srtucture
JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Manager for a 6M C2H opportunity located in Downtown Dallas, TX (onsite 3-4 days per week). The Cybersecurity Manager will oversee the strategic and operational management of the cybersecurity initiatives. The Cybersecurity Manager will lead a team to ensure the protection of the infrastructure and data from evolving cybersecurity threats. The Cybersecurity Manager will collaborate closely with internal IT teams, key vendors, and executive leadership to implement robust security measures, foster business continuity, and create a proactive security culture. The Cybersecurity Manager will be both hands-on and strategic, guiding cybersecurity practices.

• Lead the Cybersecurity Team - Ensuring Effective Management / Continuous Improvement of Security Ops


• Set the Strategic Direction / Establish Goals / Lead Execution of Key Initiatives


• Oversee Management / Optimization of Security Tools (Firewalls / IDS / Vulnerability Scanners, etc.) - Ensuring Alignment with Best Practices


• Develop / Implement / Refine Incident Response Plans - Lead Investigation / Remediation of Security Incidents (Breaches / Cyber-Attacks) - Ensuring Risks are Mitigated Thoroughly / Timely / Effectively


• Manage Security Program - Ensuring Secured Infrastructure Systems / Vulnerabilities are Addressed / Compliance with Security Standards


• Partner with Internal IT / Legal / Compliance Teams / External Vendors - Improving Security Posture / Providing Guidance to Executives on Potential Security Risks / Operational Impacts


• Identify / Implement Improvements in Security Process / Tools / Procedures - Staying Ahead of Emerging Cybersecurity Threats.


• Ensure Ongoing Compliance with Relevant Security Frameworks / Regulations - Leading Internal Audits / Maintain Documentation for Compliance
