Description:
The Product Manager will be the strategic owner of our key Ethical channel focused OTC brands ranging from products for GI, throat care, pain management, Wellness supplements and sexual wellness. The product manager will take ownership of driving marketing activities to build brand trust, accelerate prescription generation, and increase market share in the focused therapeutic areas and categories. This role requires a blend of medical expertise, sharp analytical skills, and marketing acumen. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our business goals and the needs of healthcare professionals and consumers.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic brand ownership: Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies for Ethical portfolio of OTC products, aiming for sustained growth and profitability.
- Annual Marketing Activities: develop an annual marketing calendar and take ownership of execution by region
- Market intelligence & analysis: Conduct relevant research, competitive analysis, and leverage consumer insight, category insight from trusted sources like IQVIA
- Analyse prescription and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Provide data-driven input to the sales team to optimize field force strategy and execution.
- Sales team enablement: Create and deliver effective training programs and high-impact promotional materials (visual aids, literature) for the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the latest scientific and product knowledge.
- Healthcare professional (HCP) engagement: Plan and execute Continuous Medical Education (CME) programs, round table and other events to drive brand visibility and engagement with HCPs.
- Best practice and innovation sharing: Actively monitor industry trends, digital marketing innovations, and market changes. Share best practices with the broader team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

- Performance monitoring: Track, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as market share growth, sales targets, campaign effectiveness, and ROI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is mandatory.
- Master's in Management (MBA) is preferred .
- 6-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or consumer healthcare marketing, with significant exposure to the OTC segment.
