Job Description
- As an Android Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Architecting robust, secure, and scalable mobile applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs.
- Maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.
- Mentoring junior developers and leading code reviews.
- Staying up to date with the latest mobile technology trends, tools, and best practices.
- Working closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and QA to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8-12 years of proven experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Deep understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Experience with Jetpack components (e.g., LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation).
- Familiarity with MVVM / MVP / Clean Architecture.

- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and 3rd-party libraries integration.
- Strong knowledge of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with Android Studio, Git, Gradle, and continuous integration.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
- Published one or more Android apps in the Google Play Store is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
