Project Manager- Construction

Hire Resolve's client, an independent logistics company is searching for an experience Project Manager to join their team in Dubai, must be a South African citizen.𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

• Understand client requirements and perform quantity take-offs based on marking and RCP drawings.
• Prepare BOQ by analyzing specification sheets and identifying discrepancies between BOQ, drawings,

and contract conditions. * Monitor and control costs throughout the project, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

• Participate in pre-tender activities with clients, architects, and project managers, raising relevant pre-

bid queries. * Prepare initial quotes and contracts in coordination with the sales team.

• Collaborate with the design team to analyze architectural and service drawings.
• Manage the valuation of work done, handling claims and variations effectively.
• Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering exercises to optimize project outcomes.

• Prepare interim and final valuations, variations, and claims for the construction site.
• Provide regular progress reports to ensure transparency and accountability

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying or cost consulting, preferably in logistics facility

construction. * Proven experience working on construction projects in African markets.

• Sound knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and standards.
• Proficiency in cost estimation, cost management techniques, and relevant software tools.
• Familiarity with contract administration and legal aspects of construction projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent negotiation abilities.
