Job Description

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist at our client's company located in Seepz, Andheri E, Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring adherence to Quality Control (QC) processes in Jewelry manufacturing. With a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in the field, you will be responsible for developing and implementing customer-specific or category-specific quality standards and norms to uphold the reputation of our globally recognized company.

Your key responsibilities will include enforcing and implementing quality standards and procedures across the production process, creating and maintaining comprehensive quality documentation, and designing quality improvement plans with necessary corrective actions. You will collaborate with production teams to ensure quality compliance, train and guide QC checkers on customer-specific quality standards, and manage Jewelry testing methods to guarantee product quality.
Utilizing your in-depth knowledge of Jewelry manufacturing processes and quality assurance techniques, you will be expected to employ quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis and Why-Why Analysis to solve issues and enhance processes. Your strong analytical skills will be essential in analyzing data and making informed decisions to support continuous quality improvement initiatives within the organization.

To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in quality testing methods for Jewelry products, familiarity with various quality tools, and the ability to develop and implement quality improvement plans. Proficiency in computer applications related to quality control, excellent communication skills for effective collaboration, and prior experience in training and guiding QC checkers based on specific customer quality requirements are also required.
