Job Description

You are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with 4+ years of expertise in Web (Selenium) and Mobile (Appium) automation using Java to enhance the testing framework and ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality applications. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts, executing end-to-end testing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve test efficiency. It requires a strong understanding of test automation tools and large-scale system testing. An analytical mindset, experience with Agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Expertise in Web (Selenium) and Mobile (Appium) automation testing with Java is required. Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks like Page Object Model and experience in writing and executing automated test cases for web and mobile applications is necessary. The candidate should have hands-on experience in creating, maintaining, and optimizing test scripts and knowledge of cross-browser testing and debugging web applications across different environments. Proficiency in handling mobile gestures, UI interactions, and native/hybrid app testing is expected, along with the ability to set up and maintain large-scale test environments for automated execution. Understanding Agile methodologies, working with Jira or similar tools, excellent communication skills, and experience in client interaction are all important for this role.
Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts for web and mobile applications, collaborating with developers, testers, and product teams to define and implement automation strategies, analyzing test results, identifying defects, and working closely with Customer/developers to resolve issues. The candidate will also be responsible for improving test efficiency by implementing best practices in automation and test execution, providing detailed test reports, documenting testing processes for better traceability, researching and implementing new automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing capabilities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices for automated testing.
