Job Description
- You will be joining Hitachi Vantara's HV Finance team in Pune, where you will play a crucial role in the Revenue Performance Organization within Controllership. Your main responsibilities will include managing the daily activities of the Revenue Accounting team to ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements. This will involve reviewing and approving manual journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations, as well as overseeing monthly and quarterly reporting and the month-end close process to ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue and cost recognition. Additionally, you will be involved in activities supporting the Revenue Team Manager, such as recruitment, training, and setting up backup structures within the team.
Your role will also entail collaborating with Global Revenue Performance colleagues to establish consistent best practices and judgment. Your primary focus will be to ensure the correct accounting entries are made to the profit and loss statement and balance sheet in the revenue area. To excel in this position, you should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a working knowledge of IFRS15, IFRS16, or ASC606. Additionally, you should possess at least 9 years of accounting experience, with team management experience being a plus. Proficiency in Excel and experience with cloud-based applications common in the industry are advantageous. A professional degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics is required, and a minimum of 3 years" experience in a relevant industry-related field is preferred.
