Job Description
- Role Overview:
As a Performance Testing Engineer at Hitachi Energy, you will be responsible for conducting Load Testing of Applications. You will collaborate with team members to test software for high availability, scalability, and reliability. Your role will involve troubleshooting, analyzing complex problems, and providing recommendations to enhance performance and stability. Additionally, you will work closely with internal and external customers to understand technology requirements for key projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate application architectures and design performance test plans
- Establish performance test objectives, validate acceptance criteria, workload profiles, and use case scenarios
- Measure and analyze performance data including workload, system, and application
- Collaborate with development teams, architects, and engineers to test products under load and suggest improvements
- Utilize expertise in load testing tools such as JMeter, K6, LoadRunner, SOAPUI, Zabbix, Selenium, etc.
- Demonstrate good knowledge in server/website and API testing
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, SQL, and PostgreSQL
- Possess strong self-driven collaboration skills and proven data analysis capabilities
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field

- Good knowledge of server/website, and API Testing
- Understanding of Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, SQL, and PostgreSQL
- Strong self-driven collaborator with proven data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with meticulous attention to detail
