The team:
The Hitachi Digital (HD) Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Accounts Payable team provides post-procurement services supporting Digital Infrastructure (DI), Digital Services (DS), and GlobalLogic businesses.
The team is responsible for end-to-end Accounts Payable operations and is globally distributed across multiple locations. Currently comprising approximately 70 professionals, the team is led by the Service Delivery Senior Director based in Poland.
Our scope covers all key AP processes, including (but not limited to) vendor master and vendor relationship management, invoice processing, vendor payments, employee reimbursements, onsite travel expenses, process harmonization and standardization, month-end close activities, and audit support.
The Role
This role leads and manages Accounts Payable operations, primarily overseeing end-to-end global payments and ensuring accurate invoice processing. The incumbent will be responsible for driving service delivery excellence and ensuring adherence to defined KPIs, SLAs, and internal control requirements. The role also supports audits, month-end close activities, and continuous process improvement initiatives, while ensuring compliance with company policies. Additionally, the role involves managing payments across geographies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution, while coordinating with global stakeholders.

What Youll Bring

• Graduation in Commerce or a related discipline; MBA (Finance/Operations) or CA-Inter preferred
• 8–10 years of experience in end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor management, payment cycles, and employee reimbursements
• Proven experience in managing teams and delivering results against defined KPIs and SLAs in a shared services or global environment
• Strong ownership of operational KPIs such as invoice processing TAT, first-pass yield, on-time payment %, aged payables, error rates, and audit observations
• Hands-on experience in month-end close, audit coordination with various stakeholders, and compliance activities
• Exposure to ERP systems (Oracle preferred) with strong MS Excel skills
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and process governance
• Ability to drive process improvements, standardization, and automation
