Job Title: Executive Diploma Trainee
Location: Mysore

Reports To: Location Operations Manager
Job Summary: Hitachi Energy is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Diploma Engineers to join our team. This role is designed for recent diploma graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in the energy sector, specifically within the manufacturing continuous process industry. The trainee will be involved in various projects and tasks, providing support to the team while learning and developing their skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the Functions / Operations in the location.
• Support project teams in various phases of project execution.
• Conduct research, prepare and present analysis on identified topics technical / operations.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical and functional knowledge.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to project activities.
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
  

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of energy systems and technologies.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

• Knowledge of continuous process manufacturing systems and technologies.
• Experience with process control systems and instrumentation.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ability to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP, DCS software will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Previous internship or project experience in the energy sector.
