Job Description
- Operate handheld X-rays for active case finding of TB, particularly chest X-rays.
- Ensure proper positioning of patients and image quality.
- Follow safety protocols in radiographic procedures.
Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree, preferably with a diploma in X-Ray Radiography with minimum 2 years of experience.
- Skilled in operating portable X-ray machines, patient positioning, and capturing high-quality chest X-rays following NTEP/WHO guidelines.
- Adherence to radiation safety protocols and use of protective measures to minimize exposure.
- Basic understanding of TB.
- Strong communication, empathy towards patients, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
