We are looking for a highly skilled SEO specialist to join our team on a freelance basis and manage the SEO strategy for our website. This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from anywhere. The main focus will be on improving our websites visibility through on-page SEO and building high-quality backlinks to enhance our domain authority. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO and be able to work within CMS limitations, as we can only grant access to CMS componentsu2014not web development. Tasks

• SEO audits & strategy development: Conduct detailed SEO audits of our website to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aimed at enhancing website performance.
• Keyword research & optimization: Perform keyword research to discover high-potential, relevant keywords. Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headers, and content for these keywords to improve rankings and user engagement.
• Competitor analysis: Regularly monitor competitors SEO tactics, trending keywords, backlink profiles, and content. Use insights to create strategies that help us surpass competitors in search rankings.
• On-page SEO:
  
  Optimize on-page elements of the website, including content, images, internal linking, and metadata, ensuring that all SEO best practices are adhered to within CMS capabilities.
• Backlink building: Build high-quality, ethical backlinks from reputable and relevant sources. Focus on long-term, white-hat link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
• Performance tracking & reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to track SEO performance, generate detailed reports, and analyze traffic, keyword rankings, and backlinks.
• Content collaboration: Work with content creators to ensure all web content is SEO-optimized for target keywords and is aligned with overall business goals.
• Stay updated on SEO trends: Continuously monitor changes in SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure our SEO strategy is up-to-date and effective.

Requirements

• Proven experience in SEO with a strong portfolio of improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.
• Deep understanding of on-page SEO, including keyword research, content optimization, meta tags, and internal linking.
• Expertise in off-page SEO, including building high-quality backlinks, outreach, and competitor analysis.
• Proficiency in using SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar.
