Job Description
- Role Overview:
As a Data Analytics Manager at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will be responsible for building cross-functional analytics and action solutions across various business areas such as Finance, ISC, Commercial, R&D, Engineering, Legal, and HR. Your role involves designing and implementing sophisticated data models, managing a comprehensive insights to action portfolio, and delivering high-quality analytics solutions to drive business decisions and operational excellence. You will report to the Director of IT, Data Analytics, and Gen AI, who oversees analytics and AI delivery across the organization. Your impact will be significant in enabling data-driven decision-making by bridging technical capabilities with complex business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a versatile functional subject matter expert across diverse business domains (Finance, ISC, Commercial, R&D, Engineering, Legal, HR) with a comprehensive understanding of technical processes and business operations
- Design and implement sophisticated data models to support complex business and technical requirements while ensuring scalability, performance, and enterprise alignment
- Maintain and optimize a comprehensive inventory of reports and analytics assets with clear ownership, documentation, and governance processes
- Systematically identify and address data model inefficiencies and technical debt to improve performance, maintainability, and business value
- Create, enhance, and retire reports through data-driven decisions and stakeholder feedback while implementing comprehensive end-to-end solutions
- Develop complete analytics solutions from requirements through data models, ETL processes, and visualizations to meet diverse business objectives
- Work effectively with Data Architecture, Business Domain teams, and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions align with enterprise strategy
- Develop specialized expertise in enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, PLM/LIMS) and create seamless data integration solutions across technical platforms
Qualification Required:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in analytics delivery with demonstrated business impact across multiple functional domains
- Expert-level skills in Data Modeling and transformations in SQL, Python, and DAX with the ability to develop and optimize complex data solutions across multiple domains
- Strong business knowledge spanning multiple functional areas such as Finance, ISC, Commercial, R&D, Engineering, Legal, HR, with the ability to quickly understand diverse business processes and technical requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data models and schemas that support both business and technical reporting needs
- Proven track record in developing end-to-end analytics solutions that integrate data from multiple sources and deliver actionable insights to diverse stakeholders
- Exceptional ability to interpret complex business and technical requirements and transform them into effective data models and analytics solutions
- Experience integrating and automating Cloud Data Warehouses and AI/ML Solutions with enterprise systems of record and solutions, and other enterprise applications
- Strong background in designing and implementing complex data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across diverse source systems
- Advanced experience with analytics tools like Snowflake EDW, IICS, HVR, Fivetran, Control M, PowerBI, or similar to create impactful reports and dashboards that effectively communicate complex information
- Exceptional analytical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities in complex technical and business environments
- Proven success working with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders to drive analytics initiatives
- Knowledge of data requirements for regulated industries and compliance reporting in a specialized manufacturing environment
