Financial Audit Specialist

What role you will play in team: Contribute to a team focused on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of HP's financial reporting. This involves collaboration with other financial teams within the company.

What you will do: Perform financial statement audits, review internal controls, and provide recommendations for improvements. Work closely with business units to ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.

Key responsibility:

• Conducting financial statement audits in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Reviewing and evaluating internal controls over financial reporting.
• Identifying and documenting significant risks and control deficiencies.
• Preparing comprehensive audit reports and presentations.

• Collaborating with business units to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• Staying up-to-date on accounting standards and regulations.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with auditing software and tools preferred.
