Job Description
- The role you are applying for is responsible for independently engaging potential customers using advanced sales techniques and tailoring solutions to their needs. You will manage leads, nurture client relationships, and collaborate on sales strategies.
You will be expected to develop and utilize advanced sales techniques to effectively engage with potential customers, address objections, and close deals. This includes identifying and qualifying leads through various channels such as inbound inquiries, outbound cold calling, email campaigns, and social media. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing lead follow-ups, seeking new opportunities within the designated territory/account, and consistently maintaining the opportunity pipeline to achieve set goals.
As part of your responsibilities, you will reach out to customers independently and sell the organization's offerings with minimal supervision. Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with existing and potential customers is crucial, along with maintaining regular communication to understand evolving needs and offer relevant solutions. You will also need to exhibit strong negotiation skills to work with customers on pricing, terms, and conditions while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
Collaboration with the sales manager or team lead is essential to refine sales strategies, target segments, and market positioning. Your input into the development of sales plans and quotas will be valued. Conducting thorough needs assessments to understand the pain points and requirements of potential customers, tailoring sales presentations and proposals accordingly, is also part of the role.
Furthermore, you will collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure a seamless customer experience and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Additionally, you will assist in training and mentoring newer inside sales team members, sharing best practices, sales techniques, and product knowledge.
The recommended education and experience for this role include a High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Typically, candidates should have 4-6 years of related work experience, preferably in inside sales or tele sales, or a related field. A Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP) certification is preferred.

Key knowledge and skills required for this role include business development, business planning, consultative selling, customer relationship management, sales process, product knowledge, and more. Effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity are essential cross-organizational skills.
This role impacts multiple teams and acts as a project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitating information validation and the team decision-making process. The assignments involved are moderately complex in nature and require intermediate problem resolution.
