Chief Financial Officer - Global Finance - B2B SaaS Firm

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function of a high-growth, global B2B SaaS / technology business. This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong experience across financial strategy, M&A, fundraising, IPO/listing readiness, international operations and investor management.
The ideal candidate should have operated at a CFO / Finance Director / equivalent CXO level in a technology/SaaS environment and have the maturity to work closely with the CEO, Board, investors and global leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the overall finance strategy, planning, controllership, FP&A, treasury and risk management for the organization.
- Partner with the CEO and Board on business strategy, growth planning, capital allocation and long-term value creation.
- Lead M&A strategy and execution, including valuation, financial due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, SPA support and post-merger integration.
- Drive fundraising and capital strategy, working with PE/VC investors, lenders, investment bankers and other financial institutions.

- Lead IPO/listing readiness and execution, including financial preparedness, due diligence, DRHP/prospectus support, regulatory coordination, governance and investor reporting.
- Build robust financial controls, MIS, governance, compliance and reporting systems suitable for a global public-market-ready organization.
- Manage investor relations and Board/Audit Committee reporting, ensuring transparency, accuracy and timely decision-making.
- Oversee global finance operations, including subsidiaries, cross-border taxation, transfer pricing, treasury and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with international business teams across US, UK and Europe and understand the financial dynamics of global SaaS businesses.
- Drive profitability, cash-flow optimization, revenue assurance and unit economics while supporting sustainable growth.
- Lead finance transformation through automation, ERP, analytics and data-driven decision making.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance organization capable of supporting rapid scale.
What We're Looking For:
- CA qualification is mandatory.
- 15-20+ years of overall finance experience with significant experience in senior leadership/CFO roles.
- Strong B2B SaaS / enterprise technology background is mandatory.
- Proven experience in M&A transactions, preferably having led multiple transactions end-to-end.
- Strong IPO / listing experience- IPO readiness, DRHP/prospectus, due diligence, regulatory coordination and/or successful listing experience.
- Strong fundraising and investor management experience across institutional investors, PE/VC and debt/equity markets.
- Meaningful experience working with US, UK and European markets/businesses.
- Experience managing global entities and cross-border finance operations.
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and economics - ARR/MRR, recurring revenue, retention, gross margin, CAC, LTV, cash conversion and unit economics.
- Strong exposure to Board, Audit Committee, investors and senior stakeholders.
- Experience in a business that has scaled significantly in terms of revenue, geography and organizational complexity.
- Strong commercial orientation -someone who can go beyond accounting and act as a strategic business partner to the CEO.
