Fund Manager - Portfolio Management Services

Job Purpose :

- Set up the PMS Fund management function for TCL Wealth PMS with focus on HNI wealth clients. TCL Wealth will be focused on product offerings with mutual funds, ETFs and bonds
- Manage the overall PMS Book and Function to effectively run the PMS proposition. Manage Multi Asset PMS portfolios in line with defined investment strategies and risk framework
- Experience 10+ years, with 6-7 years of relevant experience
- Minimum Degree : Post Graduation (MBA/PGDBA/PGPM in Finance or equivalent; CFA/CA preferred
- Location- Mumbai
Main accountabilities :
Investment Management :
- Manage and ideate portfolios for various segments of clients and as per market trends
- Designing the Risk Management Framework for the PMS
- Create model portfolios across Mutual Funds and Bonds. ETF and generate ideas for portfolios for different segment and needs of clients
- Execute buy/sell decisions and actively monitor portfolio performance
- Ensure optimal asset allocation and diversification across portfolios
- Deliver clear market commentary, model outputs, and investment rationale for client communication, reviews, and product notes
- Rebalance PMS portfolios across equity, debt, and hybrid strategies to meet client mandates and performance objectives

Client Interaction and reporting :
- Participate in client meetings, portfolio reviews, and investment discussions
- Communicate investment rationale, performance attribution, and market outlook to clients
- Support Relationship Managers and sales teams in client acquisition and retention
- Prepare and review portfolio commentary, factsheets, and presentations
Compliance & Governance :
- Ensure compliance with SEBI PMS regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements
- Maintain proper documentation and disclosures for all portfolios
- Coordinate with compliance, operations, and dealing teams for smooth execution
Others :
- Strong fundamental research and valuation skills
- Deep understanding of Indian equity markets and economic cycles
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities

Qualifications & Experience :
- Minimum Degree : Post Graduation (MBA/PGDBA/PGPM in Finance or equivalent; CFA/CA preferred.
- Deep understanding of Equity & Fixed Income markets
- Minimum Experience 10+ years, with 6-7 years of relevant experience
- Should have worked in Portfolio Management of AMC/ Wealth Outfit with experience of
- Fund management
- Equity/ debt research with portfolio responsibility
- PMS, AIF, mutual fund, or proprietary investing roles
