Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Institutional Sales Manager to drive institutional business growth and manage strategic client relationships across financial and investment products.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in institutional sales, capital markets, investment products, and client relationship management within the BFSI or financial services sector.
The role requires building and managing relationships with institutional clients such as banks, mutual funds, insurance companies, NBFCs, corporate treasuries, family offices, and institutional investors.
The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding institutional business opportunities, and delivering customized financial solutions aligned with client investment objectives.
The selected candidate will work closely with internal investment, research, product, and operations teams to support institutional business development and strengthen the organization's market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive institutional sales and business development activities across assigned client segments and regions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors and corporate clients.
- Promote and sell financial and investment products including Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Fixed Income Products, Bonds, Structured Products, and other investment solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies for institutional client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, investment discussions, and business engagement activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver customized investment and financial solutions to clients.
- Monitor financial markets, competitor activities, industry trends, and investment opportunities.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, relationship management, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business MIS reports, pipeline updates, and management presentations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, portfolio growth, and long-term client retention.
- Maintain compliance with SEBI, RBI, AMFI, and organizational regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in networking events, investor meets, and industry forums to strengthen business relationships and market visibility.
- Support leadership in strategic business planning and institutional growth initiatives.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 10-12 years of experience in Institutional Sales, Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Financial Services.
- Strong institutional client network and relationship management capabilities.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue and business growth targets.
- Strong understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to work in target-driven and fast-paced business environments
