Job Description
- As a Lead Engineer JAVA at HRS, you will play a crucial role in defining strategy and providing service excellence in enterprise-level JAVA applications development unit with AI. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging regularly with key stakeholders to review service levels and provide education on technical platforms
- Building trusted relationships with unit leadership, key stakeholders in HRS, and key technology programs
- Ensuring the quality of developments and supporting the development team with your expertise
- Leading an Agile Scrum team of 2-5 members to develop and maintain excellent software products
- Being a strong, confident, and exacting communicator to effectively convey your vision and roadmap to a wide variety of stakeholders
- Proactively discussing and consulting Product Managers and other stakeholders at the Head Quarter to ensure the technical point of view is considered in product planning and growth
- Collaborating with other responsible individuals for relevant products to ensure the technical solution is optimal and best fit for the latest cloud architecture
- Managing and supporting team members effectively
Qualifications required for this role include:
- At least 5+ years of experience in programming software using Java, modern cloud software architectures, AI familiarity, and related technologies
- Experience in leading an Agile Scrum team of 2+ Engineers and other team members

- Solid knowledge and experience with OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Experience with Agile SCRUM development method and managing a Scrum team
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
