Principal Accountabilities :
- Ensures error-free calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV), timely/accurate reporting to clients on a daily basis
- Explores avenues for service improvements and provides value-adds to clients on an ongoing basis.
- Maintains HSBC’s internal control standards
- Demonstrates improvement in process efficiencies and productivity for the team
- Manages operational risk, including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting
- Stimulates effective team work and maintaining high team morale / job satisfaction
- Tracks competitors with respect to service proposition, value-added services, best practices etc.
Management of Risk
- Manage operational risk arising through fraud, unauthorized activities, error, omission, inefficiency, systems failure or from external events.
- Maintain awareness of operational risk including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with section 4 of the Group Operations FIM.
- Record operational risk self assessment scores, action plans and reports, which impact the operational risks of the business, or otherwise review annually or where significant change occurs, e.g. acquisitions, new product launch, or when processes are transferred to new teams or locations.
Observation of Internal Controls
- Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
- Ensure awareness of compliance requirements and implementation of Group Compliance Policy.
- Foster a compliance culture andimplement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, and optimizing relations with regulators
Requirements
Qualification:
- Post -Graduate Masters/CA
- Work Experience Of Five to Ten Years

- Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required
