We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Analyst - Finance

Principal responsibilities

• Responsible for providing oversight across the Finance functional domain, including management of interdependencies across other Fusion modules and legacy systems.
• Responsible for ensuring the Finance system and processes effectively address HSBC’s functional and business process needs from an intercompany recharge, P&E and Finance perspective.
• Provide direction and SME expertise around the functional analysis, process and operational design, supporting the technical solution architects’ interpretation of requirements, piloting and full system deployment and change and implementation approach for impacted stakeholders.
• To work in close collaboration with the functional leadership across HSBC’s Service Company and Service Company Finance functions.
  
• Drive the ownership and acceptance of functional requirements across the stakeholder framework both globally and locally within country.
• To ensure appropriate senior stakeholders are effectively consulted and engaged on the programme, involving them in decision-making and working to create buy-in to transformational changes.
• The role must provide industry and solution leadership at every stage of the process lifecycle, working alongside the technical solution architect. Key to success will be the appropriate interpretation and stipulation of requirements to ensure a scalable and globally appropriate solution.
• The Functional SME will also have responsibility for the attending and advising the Design Authority.
• The Fusion programme is wide-ranging and has multiple deliverables across the short, medium and long terms. The role holder will be required to simultaneously work with team members across multiple geographies, businesses and functions.

• Delivery of Global Finance Transformation projects.
• Experience of working with Oracle modules (or other ERP systems), preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Experience of working in large, complex, multi-functional programmes is essential.
• Experience of working in a Finance function (or on Finance-related projects) is desirable.
• Experience of managing senior stakeholder relationships within technology and design teams.
