We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Business Analyst.

In this role, you will:

Impact on the Business

• Plays a key part in ensuring the operational effectiveness and efficiency of IT Functional domain for IT Infrastructure Delivery.


• Input to cost and vendor management for IT projects: ensures that renewals are made in a timely manner whilst working with ITCM to identify cost efficiencies. The role holder has a large input to the RTB budget for technical projects.


• Key to ensuring risks and issues of the department are logged with mitigation and resolution plans in place


• Pivotal role in the annual project planning process for the Services Sustainability Portfolio. Collaborating with technical teams to ensure projects are in place to replace end of life technology. Ensures business cases are well understood and documented for automation and transformation projects.


• Leads on resource management of the contingent workforce. Ensures renewals are in place, smooth on boarding process, inductions have taken place.
  

Customers / Stakeholders

• Clear communications in place. Update calls planned as and when appropriate with key stakeholders on domain progress and technology roadmaps


• Reporting is frequent on key progress and challenges. Reports metrics on GSRs, Incidents and technology changes

Leadership & Teamwork

• Ensure that actions from Team meetings are communicated and followed through to completion


• Collaboration and contribution to team objectives


• Works closely with TS shared services to ensure domains work to a common goal.


• Reports in to the domain lead, whilst supporting technical teams to ensure operational effectiveness.

Operational Effectiveness & Control – IT Finance & Operations

• End to end reviewing and control of Project & Portfolio Mgt – PPM


• Responsible for IT budgets in GPDM – Group Planning Data Model


• Recording of risks and issues in line with HSBC risk management practices and policies.


• Liaison with other ITID and HSBC Technology departments and 3rd party suppliers, managing 3rd party relationships to deliver service against contractual requirements where applicable.


• Work with the TS Quality team to understand quality metrics for the domain in relation to incidents and changes, and seek to make improvements where possible. Understands the Quality Framework and encourages best practice in the domain with GSD (Global Service desk).


• Key point of contact in to the domain for Evergreening progress and challenges, as well as compliance & patching. Ensures technical teams are working to plans to improve and increase.
