Summary: The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the global strategy for Kayali. This role involves managing the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and other goods and services necessary for the production and distribution of our products. The Purchasing Manager will ensure cost-effective, high-quality procurement while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders across various regions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Lead the creation and implementation of global purchasing strategies that align with the companys goals and objectives.
• Lead projects to achieve procurement goals and mitigate supplier-related risks.
• Manage the KPI’s.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Partner with finance, operations, and logistics to ensure effective procurement management and alignment with business needs.
• Communicate purchasing insights for informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with other Kayali team members to align strategies with overall business objectives
• 
  Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
• Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Global and Regional Sourcing Strategies:

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies supporting company expansion.
• Regionalize sourcing to diversify and strengthen the supply chain, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Negotiation and Procurement Innovation:

• Utilize advanced negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements.
• Drive procurement innovation through technology adoption and sustainable practices.
• Forecast price and complete market analysis to identify changes in buyer-supplier power dynamics. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demands

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Assess, manage, and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to ensure supply and business

Supplier Management and Optimization:

• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the best terms, quality, and reliability. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure advantageous terms.

Requirements:

• BS degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven five years work experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within the fragrance or related industry with team management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and market analysis. Experience in dealing with global suppliers and understanding of international trade regulations.
• Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage and develop a global team.
• Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
• Proficiency in vendor management software and other relevant tools.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience in data analysis.
• Solid judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• French language skills preferred
