Job Description
Role Summary
Responsible for driving trading business growth, client acquisition, and revenue generation across the assigned region. The role involves managing branch teams and Authorized Person (AP) / franchisee networks, increasing trading volumes, activating clients, and strengthening market presence while ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Business Growth & Revenue
- Drive trading revenue and client acquisition across the assigned region.
- Increase client activation, trading volumes, and revenue from equity, derivatives, and other capital market products.
- Support implementation of regional business plans aligned with the company's overall trading strategy.
- Identify opportunities to expand business through new branches, franchisees, and AP networks.
Sales & Distribution Management
- Manage and support branch teams, relationship managers, and AP/franchisee partners in the region.
- Achieve regional trading targets and drive productivity across all distribution channels.
- Implement sales initiatives, trading campaigns, and cross-sell opportunities such as margin funding, PMS, and other investment products.
Client & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with key clients, active traders, and HNI customers in the region.
- Resolve client escalations related to trading, operations, or service issues.
- Drive client engagement initiatives to improve retention and trading activity.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, exchange guidelines, and internal policies across all regional operations.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams for audits, inspections, and risk monitoring.
- Ensure proper conduct and adherence to trading policies across teams and partners.
Team Management

- Lead, motivate, and guide branch teams and relationship managers in the region.
- Monitor performance, conduct regular reviews, and support capability development.
- Assist in hiring and onboarding of key regional resources.
Reporting & MIS
- Track and report regional performance metrics such as trading revenue, client acquisition, activation rate, and productivity.
- Share periodic MIS and insights with senior management to improve business outcomes.
Professional Background
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Management.
- 8-12 years of experience in stock broking, trading business, or capital markets distribution.
- Strong understanding of equity, derivatives, and capital market products.
- Experience in managing branch sales teams or AP/franchisee networks
