Position: State Legal Manager - Non Litigation (HL & LAP)

Role Purpose
To manage non-litigation legal activities related to Home Loans (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP) cases across the state, ensuring legal compliance, risk mitigation, and smooth loan processing.
Key Role and Responsibilities

- Title verification and legal scrutiny of property documents for HL & LAP cases
- Preparation and vetting of legal reports
- Coordination with empaneled advocates and technical agencies
- Ensuring compliance with internal legal policies and regulatory norms
- Monitoring TAT for legal clearance
- Handling deviations and risk assessment in property cases
- Maintaining legal MIS and documentation records
- Supporting business teams on legal queries and risk issues
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of property laws and mortgage documentation
- Experience in HL & LAP legal processing
- Risk assessment and due diligence expertise
- Good coordination and communication skills
Qualification & Experience
- LLB (mandatory)
- 7-10 years of experience in HL/LAP non-litigation legal role (Bank/NBFC preferred)
