AI Architect

Overview

This role focuses on designing and governing enterprise AI solutions at scale, ensuring they are secure, ethical, and aligned with business objectives. You will work across teams to define architectural standards, guide implementation, and enable responsible AI adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design

• Design scalable, efficient, and business-driven AI architectures, including AI agents and related systems
• Define data flows, integration patterns, and API strategies aligned with enterprise architecture

Architecture Documentation

• Produce design documents, architecture diagrams, and implementation guidelines
• Participate in requirements gathering, design reviews, and testing phases

AI Governance & Architecture

• Establish and own architectural standards covering security, scalability, performance, and safety
• Ensure alignment with enterprise policies and responsible AI practices

Technical Problem Solving

• Troubleshoot complex architectural and integration challenges
• Provide expert guidance on system design and optimization

Proof of Concept (PoC) Development

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and platforms
• Build and validate PoCs to assess feasibility and business value

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Work closely with engineering and operations teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers on best practices
• Ensure solutions are maintainable, scalable, and operationally robust

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in designing and delivering AI solutions in enterprise environments

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or R
• Experience with cloud platforms for deploying and scaling AI solutions
• Hands-on experience integrating APIs into AI applications
• Familiarity with modern AI frameworks, protocols, and deployment patterns
• Experience working with generative AI tools and platforms
• Understanding of system design principles including security, monitoring, high availability, and disaster recovery
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in enterprise architecture, application architecture, or infrastructure engineering
• Experience building full-stack environments for testing and prototyping
• Knowledge of security frameworks and certifications
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL)
• Experience working in global, cross-functional teams
